Mit dem Ordnungsamt gegen das Ordnungsamt.
For whatever reason, this year councils sent out notices reminding clubs, bars and generally all the places that people go to for dancing, that there is a paragraph in the Hessische Verfassung which prohibits dancing from good Friday to easter Sunday.
Christianity says: "People should either dance for our cause or not at all."
State says: "OK, I'll make it a law."
So basically what happened was: I had to play with a limiter which made for the weirdest sound. There was only high and mid frequencies, NO BASS AT ALL!
And guess what?
It was good fun and People fucking loved my set!
I was supported by Inox Kapell's great Ordnungsamt et la Politesse, they also had a shit sound and didn't care.
During my set, there were several people coming up to my table asking weird technical questions. I had to very seriously tell one guy that everyone who touches my stuff without my permission while I'm playing is very likely to die a slow, painful death. And there were two girls coming over explaining to me that my stuff is cool because it's experimental, but they'd rather listen to something danceable.
I sold two T-shirts and two rolls of tape.
At the end of the night, the people from the venue started playing music from my website over the place's soundsystem.
I arrived a Eva's place around 6 am.
